Why weddings?

My interest in documenting weddings came about upon realizing that it’s easy for wedding photographs to feel lacking… skipping over the intricacies, avoiding the imperfect, and ultimately not really telling the full story.

Your wedding day shouldn’t feel like a photo shoot, and it doesn’t have to. Weddings are so much more than portraits, and each one holds an intangible feeling that I can only attempt to convey through imagery. By approaching your day with a sense of openness and trust, together we’ll create images that feel timeless, whimsical, and true to you.

I spend my time cooking, hosting dinner parties with friends, enjoying the outdoors, redecorating our East Nashville home, and traveling. I’m inspired by human connection, the way light can transform any moment, and the power of kindness. My favorite feeling in the world is laughing until I cry.
